美術館びじゅつかんのはがき

休やすみの日ひ、私わたしは美術館びじゅつかんへ行いきました。
そこで青あおい山やまのきれいな絵えを見みました。
私わたしは「この絵えのはがきが欲ほしい」と思おもいました。
でも、店みせが分わかりませんでした。
受付うけつけの人ひとに「店みせはどこですか」と聞ききました。
その人ひとは「２階にかいです」と言いいましたから、私わたしは２階にかいへ行いって、はがきを買かいました。

• 〜から (because) 〜から at the end of a clause gives the reason for what follows: ‘because A, B’. The reason clause comes first and may end in the polite form. その人ひとは「２階にかいです」と言いいましたから、私わたしは２階にかいへ行いって、はがきを買かいました。(“That person said, ‘It’s on the second floor,’ so I went to the second floor and bought a postcard.”)

The Art Museum Postcard

On my day off, I went to an art museum.
I saw a beautiful picture of a blue mountain there.
I thought, “I want a postcard of this picture.”
But I did not know where the shop was.
I asked the person at the reception, “Where is the shop?”
That person said, “It’s on the second floor,” so I went to the second floor and bought a postcard.
