足あしの下したの切符きっぷ

冬休ふゆやすみに、私わたしは東京駅とうきょうえきにいました。
かばんが重おもかったですから、少すこし疲つかれました。
新幹線しんかんせんに乗のる前まえに、切符きっぷをなくしました。
駅えきの人ひとに「切符きっぷがありません」と言いいました。
駅えきの人ひとは「そこにありますよ」と言いいました。
切符きっぷは、私わたしの足あしの下したにありました。

• 〜から (because) 〜から at the end of a clause gives the reason for what follows: ‘because A, B’. The reason clause comes first and may end in the polite form. かばんが重おもかったですから、少すこし疲つかれました。(“Because my bag was heavy, I got a little tired.”)
• 〜と言いいます (say that) 〜と言いいます reports what someone says, and と marks the reported content. An indirectly reported clause normally takes the plain form. A direct quotation in 「」 keeps the speaker’s original wording. 駅えきの人ひとに「切符きっぷがありません」と言いいました。(“I said to the station staff, ‘I don’t have my ticket.’”)

During the winter vacation, I was at Tokyo Station.
